About

I’m a teacher by profession, earth and nature-lover by avocation, sometimes creative cook by inspiration, musician by collaboration and contemplative by affirmation.  At home with kids, their people, binoculars, whisks,  kayaks, singing and silence, I live with my husband in Missoula, MT.   I enjoy traveling, writing and taking pictures.  Maybe you’ll see some of that here.

  1. This blog is wonderful. You prepared the pathway of our journey with you in such a remarkable fashion. Thanks for including me among your friends.

  2. We are Americans visiting Graz…and we found your website when as we worked on planning our trip up Schoeckl. We’ll try hiking up…and we’ll try to find the right path.

    • Yes, hiking up is much better! It should take you about 3 1/2 hours, according to some information I ran across. Viel Glück!
